Shock, horror! US weekly news magazine Time has chosen to put a young, pretty blonde woman on the cover of its 21 May issue.
Why is this such a problem? True, the publication usually opts for serious shots of Barack Obama or the late Steve Jobs over eye candy, but surely this edition would blend right in on the newsstands next to the bevy of beauties gracing the covers of glossies like Vogue and Vanity Fair?

Have you heard about Commando Dad? I came across ex-commando and Dad of three, Neil Sinclair when he was promoting his book Commando Dad – Basic Training on TV this week. Watching the interview of him I was intrigued by his unique take on caring for children and I felt his approach would be particularly appealing to men, who may find other general baby guides confusing and at times patronising.

NHS trade unions have commissioned a survey of all our members about your views on your pay, your workload and your working conditions. We will use the results of the survey for our evidence to the NHS Pay Review Body in September.
Each year the RCM and the other NHS trade unions provide individual and joint evidence to the NHS Pay Review Body. The NHS Pay Review Body collects all the evidence in and writes a report making recommendations to the government on pay and pay-related terms and conditions for Agenda for Change staff.
