About this site

This RCM communities site is an online member-only professional networking hub.

The site is divided into four sections:

• Consultations: The latest active, closing and closed consultations on the potential changes affecting the profession
• Midwives blog: Views on the news happening in and around maternity care
• Groups: Where members can join like-minded colleagues to discuss and debate issues arising from all areas of their working lives
• Members: The profiles page of all communities members.

There is a list of all the policies relating to this site at the footer of each page. This is divided up into four sections:

• Privacy: The treatment of members' personal information
• Terms and conditions: This contains a disclaimer regarding information published on the communities site, RCM copyright and the RCM's registered trademarks
• Community guidelines: These are guidelines for members to understand what being a member of the RCM communities means
• Contact us: Contact details for the RCM communities manager.
